Beyond Oil Gains Landmark Approval as Supplier for Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Horton’s, and Firehouse Subs locations

In a significant move for the food-tech sector, Beyond Oil Ltd. has received global supplier approval from Restaurant Brands International (RBI), allowing its patented oil filtration system to be offered through more than 30,000 franchise locations of Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Horton’s, and Firehouse Subs worldwide. This milestone enables Beyond Oil to introduce its solution—which cuts harmful compounds, extends oil life, and reduces overhead costs—to a global network spanning over 100 countries.

The newly announced approval spurred enthusiasm from Burger King Israel’s CEO, Roy Harpaz, who described how Beyond Oil’s product helps the restaurant chain fry “healthier” by reducing the frequency of oil changeovers, improving safety for kitchen staff, and enhancing food quality. “In the past, we changed oil every three to four days,” Harpaz said, “Now, with Beyond Oil, we do this only once or twice a month—reducing safety risks, improving efficiency, and ultimately serving healthier food.” Beyond Oil’s CEO, Jonathan Or, called the approval “one of the most pivotal moments in Beyond Oil’s journey,” validating the impact of the company’s solution at a global scale.

This latest development builds on a series of major distribution announcements. In late February, Beyond Oil announced its first distribution agreement in South Africa, partnering with Minrosolve Proprietary to reach an African market eager for cost-saving and health-focused technologies. The move marked a key footprint in one of the continent’s largest economies, with the distributor anticipating continued orders as it rolls out Beyond Oil’s filtration product to quick-service and mid-tier restaurants.

Just days prior, the company expanded a 5-year master distribution agreement with Latitude to Ukraine. Under terms of that deal, Latitude committed to purchasing Beyond Oil’s filtration technology with minimum annual purchase requirements, reinforcing the momentum behind solutions that optimize frying oil usage. Similarly, Beyond Oil formalized an agreement in the Indian market, announcing it would bring its technology to a vast network of eateries through a significant partnership with Deep Frying Solutions Pvt Ltd. That deal outlined a structured purchasing plan and comprehensive training initiatives to accelerate adoption across the subcontinent.

Beyond Oil’s filtration product is designed to decrease harmful compounds created through repeated frying, a challenge in large-scale foodservice operations. By limiting frequent oil replacements, restaurants also benefit from reduced environmental waste and lower operational costs. The company’s overarching mission—delivering a healthier frying experience—appears to resonate with global quick-service brands looking to meet rising consumer expectations around sustainability, quality, and employee safety.

For RBI’s franchisees, the approval promises critical advantages. While it remains up to each location to opt in, having a validated supplier opens the door for immediate, plug-and-play deployment. With extended oil life, operators can reduce oil disposal volumes and lower energy usage by cutting the cycles of heating fresh oil. The product’s ability to decrease harmful byproducts is also viewed as both a customer benefit and a workforce safety improvement, since it lessens hazards linked to frequent oil handling.

In a relatively short span, Beyond Oil has positioned itself as a partner-of-choice for large-scale franchises and distributors across multiple continents. Now, with the RBI approval secured and previous expansion successes under its belt, the company has uncovered a powerful growth channel that could see its advanced filtration technology used by millions of consumers daily. The next steps will likely focus on collaboration with local owners who have been waiting for this green light—a move that could further leverage Beyond Oil’s presence across the global foodservice industry.
