Actelis adds former Alcatel Corporate CTO & Celestea Capital Parter to Board

Actelis Networks* (NASDAQ: ASNS), a provider of cyber-hardened networking solutions, has appointed Dr. Niel Ransom to its Board of Directors, bringing in a veteran with a strong background in network security, telecommunications, and deep-tech investments. His extensive experience in developing and scaling secure communications infrastructure is expected to enhance Actelis’ strategic direction as the company continues to expand in high-security markets.

With an industry career spanning nearly five decades, Ransom has been at the forefront of major advancements in network technology. His work at Bell Labs and BellSouth established his reputation as an innovator in high-speed connectivity and broadband solutions. As Corporate CTO of Alcatel, he directed global R&D initiatives, driving the integration of emerging technologies into large-scale networking systems. His leadership extended beyond corporate strategy, with board roles in ECI Telecom, Applied Micro, Cyan, and Radisys, where he played an advisory role in scaling network security and infrastructure solutions.

His recent tenure as a Partner at Celesta Capital provided him with a vantage point on emerging cybersecurity and edge computing technologies. These areas align with Actelis’ focus on secure, high-performance networking, making his addition to the Board a well-timed move as the company broadens its cybersecurity-driven solutions.
